Why Should I Enroll in this E-Course?
This E-course provides attendees with unlimited access to this PD for 20 days. This takes sustained professional development to the highest level.
The research outlining the effectiveness of instructional coaching is ubiquitous. Studies have shown a correlation between instructional coaching, teacher instruction, and student engagement. According to Charner and Medrich (2017), "In the 2015 Charner and Mean study of teachers who had been coached, fully 99 percent of these teachers said that changes in their practice had an impact on student engagement" (p. 6).
How is the course structured?
With 20 days of unlimited access to this presentation, attendees will have more than enough time to dive deep into the research on instructional coaching. Through a series of (15) self-paced lectures, averaging less than five minutes per lecture, attendees will review the latest research on instructional coaching and its benefits.
How will learning be assessed?
Attendees will have an opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned via formative assessments embedded into the course. Each quiz assesses the attendees' comprehension of the concepts discussed in the lectures. At the conclusion of this course, attendees will also have an opportunity to complete a brief survey to indicate the effectiveness of this course.
